Hiya all.

I need a bit of help here please.

I bought a PWM splitter cable to be able to run the 3 fans on my rad of my mobo cpu header which has pwm control. 2 of the fans work perfectly this way but one of them is stuck on full pelt! Why is this? I have tried disconecting the molex power supply to them but that just kills the 3 fans completly! Any ideas?

Sounds like the third fan isn't getting the PWM signal for some reason. All fans receive power from the Molex so there's no point in removing that.

I would start by checking the blue PWM signal wire is firmly attached both ends and if you have a multimeter check continuity of the connection.

Try swapping header from one that slows down to the one that is at 100% and see if the fast spinner moves with the cable.

Cheers man.

I feel such a loser!!

Thanks for the second perspective on it. I did what you suggested and it turns out it was a loose connection on one of the splitters terminals.

Thanks again buddy ive not got quietness:)
