help needed quick! 280 oc

just baught a bfg oc 280 gtx , i have a crosair hx620 i plugged in the 6pin connector and then went to plug in the 8pin connector but it doesnt fit?!?!. i got an adaptor supplied with the card but it looks like it takes 2x 6 pin connectors to plug in to it. can any 1 help please!!

i have the same psu and it should have 2 modular pcie cables in the box, they are both 6+2 pin like this one

have you tried brute force and ignorance? if not...dont!

If the 8 pin plug doesn't fit, its not for your gfx card, and will cook it. DO NOT try and force it.

if the connections on your card are like this then use one 6pin & just leave the extra 2 hanging, and on the other one use the six & the extra 2, it should fit no problem
