Help needed small android phone not too expensive £200

I'm after a small android phone about the size of an iPhone 8 for my sons birthday he's 11

I got the xiaomii 10t lite but it's too big is there anything similar spec wise but smaller?

Samsung 10e or Pixel 4a probably the best small Android offerings out there.
Yes the screens will be bigger than the iPhone 8 but smaller overall footprint.
 
You're struggling for a small Android at £200. You've mentioned the perfect sized phone (iPhone 8). Is there a reason he can't have a second hand iPhone that fits within the budget?
 
Thanks is for the advice, he has an old iPhone se at the moment but has his mind set on Android as he likes the idea of customisation. I can't believe there aren't many smaller android phones that don't have good specs. I might have to see if I can convince him to keep iPhone then
 
Xperia XZ2 Compact, but getting one for £200 will be tough. Xperia XZ1 Compact can be had brand new around that price (£195) on a popular auction site...
