Hi Guys,

The excess of knowledge in this forum means this will most likely be answered really quickly.

Its been a while since I've had to build/spec anything but what would people recommend for a starter gaming PC around £600 Apparently the only requirement is that is uses the RX580 or a 1060 (its for a kid so i think its so he can have the same as friends)

He doesn't need monitor, keyboard etc

Thanks so much for that, is there an alternative power supply you could recommend?

I’m just looking for one in stock to be honest, trying to get it built before Christmas
Don’t get the 580 4gb Nitro when the Gigabyte 590 8gb is the currently the same price.

Windows 10 can be downloaded and installed for free with activation codes from as little as £2 from a certain 2nd hand marketplace, could use that saving to get some better ram 16gb of 3200/cl16 is ideal for budget ryzen

Ive gone Ryzen 2600 aswell as listed above...although its previous Gen its still a great CPU with enough power for gaming... i added in the 8gb RX590 which is currently on offer at £150 BARGAIN!. The 480gb is enough for a fair few games and im sure he will not fill that up that quick, with the remaining budget all youd need to get is a case but thats personal choice so ill leave that to your side of it all :)

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £554.00 (includes shipping: £11.10)
