Hi all,

I'm after a PCI-E HDMI graphics card please - Cheap as possible.

Must be able to play HD material - i.e. Blu-Ray's and H.264 / MKV files

What do you suggest?

Thanks

ati hd 3450 or hd4350 for £25-£35 also avialable with hdmi out if you look out otherwise dvi with usually optional hdmi to dvi converter

at the really cheap end there is older often dell oem hd 2400's for £15 but dvi ratehr than hdmi

Thanks

The audio will also go through these cards right? so just need the one HDMI cable going from the PC to the HD TV?

Thanks

Yep, You'll need the official Ati DVI to HDMI adaptor (not all ATi cards come with them, especially the cheaper ones.)

....so on a model with actual HDMI port on board (do they exist ??) the sound is already 'wired in' ?

My MCE machine oem gfx card (7600GTL - some wierd Sony effort !!) seems to be dying....it has HDMI output only, but I have to separately wire audio out :( - still if these little 34xx cards support audio too, could be great time to swap out !
