Above you will find a link to the CPU I am currently looking to buy. Could anyone clarify for me if the specs that I have listed below (My current components) will be able to handle this new CPU without having to change anything.

Thanks.

CURRENT SPECS

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2P nForce 430 (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
CPU Cooler - Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro PWM CPU Cooler
Memory - Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel

Thanks for the reply,

In that case which AM3 MOBO and DDR3 Memory would you recommend me buying so that the CPU would be compatible?

Price range for the MOBO and MEMORY in total, around £200..

How about these products? Would this answer my question above?

this is the only mobo that I could find on ocuk that supports 1600mhz
I am quite surprised

Look's like i'll be sticking with the RAM suggested then ;(

Also i noticed that the RAM you suggested specifies that they are suited to an INTEL build, rather than an AMD build, also there order status is "Pre-Order". Are there any other alternatives you could suggest?
