Help needed, Weird Post problem.. **Update, Bought some new toys!**

Disaster has been brewing in my pc case.

Well 2 days ago.. I came home from work and turned my pc on and got this..

The post froze right there. And nothing happened at all.. Until 6 mins and 20 seconds later i got this.

1st id just like to say, ive tried and tested all my memory in different slots and different configs to make sure it wasnt that. Also took 1gb of DDR II out of my parents pc to test and i got the same error, Also my GEIL worked in theres so thats all good.

Now i tried all the options on there, 1st being Default which didnt work.. Then after waiting 6 mins and 20 seconds of waiting i tried Last Known Good.. Which also didnt work.

So then i wait again for the menu and press F1 to continue to boot, Carrys on booting without posting but then stops on my Raid screen, My Raid 0 had died.. Oh well :( That i can put up with reinstalling everything etc etc..

So again i wait for the menu and go into the Bios by pressing Del.. Set everything correctly and default ( cpu, ram etc ) but dont turn raid on, Also i change the boot order to put dvd 1st so i can start reinstalling Vista.

After waiting again for it to "not" post it finally boots off the disc and i install vista ( Which took AGES i must say, i know i didnt have a Raid 0 setup but this was stupid. Also didnt help that i had to wait for it to "not" post everytime setup restarted )

Now here i am, other small problems include my 2nd internal HD isnt showing in Bios or Vista, neither is my External HD..

Small story short, has my mobo had it ? Ive had to restart ( And wait for ages to "not" post), afew times already due to updates (should have turned off really, which i have now ) Ive also tried both Bios's.. The Main 1 and the Backup 1 both with the same results.

Also if it does look like my mobo has gone, Spec me a mobo ? :p

Would try that but Floppy drive dosnt work either :(

And dont wanna try a windows flash. Ive read they dont work a lot and just mess things up.

Agh, Flash successfull. On F5 now ( Latest )

But still freezes at the same point and takes ages to load too..

Also still no 2nd HD in bios or Vista, same with External HD. Also still no floppy..

Any other ideas? :(

Out of interest...Have you tried booting with nothing connected...

Basically just have the cpu, ram, and graphics card in....No hard drive / cdrom etc.

Unplug everything else completely, then boot up, see if it's still taking ages.

Been trying all that, an still takes ages to post.

Installing the chipset drivers didnt help much either. :(
