Help Needed! What Graphics card should I go for?

Hi all,

This is my first post, I am about to begin a new build, I have an Asus P6T deluxe board and a i7 920.

But I am unsure about what graphics card I should go for! I am going to be using the machine for some gaming and video editing mainly. Don't really want to spend more than £300 but could go a little higher if needed.

Any advice on the best card would be most appreciated.

get the cheapest 5850, why would you get the £260 one when you can get one for around 210

Agreed, should clarify that I recommended the best value 5850 that was in stock


EDIT: or even this one would be better, when they come into stock (mentioned just above i think)
