Hello there guys, well recently a friend of mine attempted to Flash his BIOS, but he must have done something wrong or got the wrong BIOS.
Which has basically put his computer out of action, he lives in Sweden, so i havnt seen it myself, but apparently, when he switches it on now, everything starts, but the screen doesnt come on, there is only a orange light Standby.
This has happened to me before, but i managed to fix it easily.
So i was wondering if any of you guys could help him out abit with some advice or instructions on how to make the motherboard get back its default BIOS? He has apparently tried clearing his cmos, but it didnt work, do you guys have any tips on how to do this properly?
Or is his motherboard completely done for now and does he need to get a new mobo?
he has a Abit NF7-S motherboard
Amd Barton 3200XP CPU
2GB of RAM
