Hi all
I could really do with some help.
I'm out bike touring and normally on my smartphone I use Google maps on a browser (chrome) to plot a cycle route, then copy the url into this site to convert it into a gpx file:

then a quick sd card switch to load it onto the garmin bike sat nav and I'm good to go. I'm now having problems, gpx visualizer now needs an API key, I've set up an account on the Google cloud platform and created my own API key, but when I enter this code on GPS visualizer it says :API key origin error, no other details.
On the cloud platform below the API key I've generated it says:
Use this key in your application by passing it with key=API_KEY parameter.
I don't know what this means
As you've probably guessed I'm out of my depth, I managed today by checking my phone at junctions but this isn't ideal, I need to stay on backroads to avoid the lethal A roads.
