I've been holding out for a Haswell upgrade from my old Q6600 quad core, yes I know its old :p

My budget is between 1200-1400, but naturally i'm looking for the best bang for buck in all components.

I want to build the system around the 4770k CPU and a GTX770 GPU. I would like 16gb ram, SSD, 2tb HD, Case, PSU and a cooling solution.

I would like to overclock to 4.6ghz so need some advice on a good cooling solution.

I don't need any other peripherals, just looking for the fastest box for my money, thanks in advance for any help from the OCUK gurus out there :)

If its for mostly gaming the 4770K will not be used to its full potential a 4570K would be more suitable and save you a bit of cash.

I will be running multiple instances of the same game (4-6 clients) and livestreaming/recording and then doing a lot of editing work, thats why im plumping for the i74770k over the i54670k

The things im most interested in are the case and cooling solution to effectively overclock to ~4.6ghz

The D3HP isn't for dual GPUs bud so the PSU is OTT. You can read a review HERE that states 4.6Ghz is the top expected OC on the mobo and the Bequiet heatsink won't hack it.

You are better off getting the H100i bundled with the i7. You just need a case that can mount the rad. I used the Antec P280 as it can take the H100i and has sound proofing. I think the corsair 300R can take it but it's a really tight squeeze.

Depends on what voltage the CPU needs to achieve 4.6Ghz, some need less than others, some are total dogs.

The Be Quiet! cooler is around the same performance as a 612S, as long as you don't run Prime95 or Intel burn test you will be fine.

Ok nice, will I have any ram / motherboard issues with these larger coolers? ive seen low profile ram touted quite a lot with the mount doom cooler for example
