help needed with new monitor

well my birthday today and *** mrs has been to overclockers to get me a viewsonic vx2025 20 inch widescreen monitor which im well pleased with but im having a couple of probs,,,when i go to the main on screen menu auto and manual image adjust are greyed out so i cant use them and i have no idea as to why as ive installed the drivers,,,any help would be greatly appreaciated

I take it you're using DVI? A lot of the image settings are only available when connecting with VGA (assuming that TFT has VGA) whereas they are meant to be adjusted through your video card drivers when using DVI.

yes dude i am using the dvi thx that explains that then lol,,,another question,,,when i go to display propertiesits showing 2 moniters
1,plug and play monitor on nvidia ge force 7800gt
2,viewsonic vx2025w series on nvidia ge force 7800gt

the plug and play 1 will go to a res of 2048x1536 while the viewsonic will only go to 1600x1024,,,now if i set it to the viewsonic 1 shut down the display properties box and reopen it it sets its self back to the plug and play monitor,,,now im only have 1 monitor plugged in although i run 2 graffix cards in sli mode
