help needed with pc spec

hi all

a friend wants me to build him a pc for around the £500 - £600 mark, so i was hoping a more knowledgeable person here would kindly help me spec the best parts to go for in that price catagory.

would prefer an intel build, preferably socket 775

thanks kingzeddy, good of you m8, i have it sorted now, iv used some parts u suggested too, had probs with getting it running, it turned out it didnt like the ide hard drive with a sata dvd writer, so i swapped to ide writer, cheers m8.
