Got hold of a Netgear PS121 print server today so i could connect the printer upto the router and let the parents print stuff off without having to let them use my computer!
problem is my printer is a HP all in one jobbie (hp psc 2179) the netgear software detects the printer and brings the model number up but then asks me to select it from the list! only problem being its not in the list!
gives option to insert disk (doesnt do much), or select a "compatible printer from list"
any idea what would be classsed as compatible to a hp psc 2179?? or is there another way to get round this problem?
