I've been having stop 0124 blue screen errors for the past few weeks. My current system spec is at the bottom of this post.

Things I've tried...

-- I've replaced the motherboard, stock cooler and hard disk.
-- Run memtest through multiple passes with no errors
-- The system isn't overclocked (at least until I can get it stable).
-- Using latest bios and drivers
-- Installed a fresh copy of vista64
-- Disabled onboard sound
-- Tried a different graphics card (nvidia 6600)
-- Run with just one stick of RAM

But I'm still getting the BSODs. If anyone can offer any advice or suggest the best way forward I'd really appreciate it.

-- Corsair 4096MB TwinX XMS2 6400 DDR2 Memory Kit

Thanks for the replies. Sorry it took a while to get back, been having "fun" with the setup.

@Plec I suspect one of the 6400s is faulty.
@Sasahara It's a brand new disk :)

I've managed to borrow a couple of 2gb Corsair 8500s 5-5-5-15 that I know are good. I've swapped the 6400s for these and checked the DRAM voltage in the bios. It was set to auto. When I look at the DDR voltage in bios health check it's showing 2.048v.

Is that ok? Do I need to tweak anything else in the bios?

Great thanks.

Think the 8500s need 2.1 and the 6400s need 1.9 so on auto it's a bit under.

Should I set it to 2.1 manually or just leave on auto (2.048v) ?

Doh! Still getting the BSODs with just one stick of the 8500s. So i have a new mb, disk and memory and still have the problem :(

Can anyone spot anything wrong in these screenshots from hwmonitor and cpuz? The bios is all at defaults with just the CPU set to 1.25V and the RAM set to 2.1V. No other tweaks. I noticed that the ram tab in cpuz is showing the right part number but the wrong max speed. Also the first screen of cpuz shows the processor running under standard speed?

@Plec cool thanks, appreciate the help :)

@CaseyChaos Yeah that does look strange but to be honest most of this goes way over my head. I've put machines together in the past and they've just worked. At the moment I'm struggling with this one.
