I have an Nvidia GeForce 7300 card and regularly use the S-video Out going into my TV. Everything works fine but I have some aspect ratio issues.
My monitor is widescreen (16:10) and my TV is regular 4:3 but all the video from the TV-out is fullscreen - fine if the movie file is 4:3, but if it's widescreen then the picture is all squashed up on the TV, when it should have black bars on the top and bottom. I can get around this by using the widescreen simulation option on the TV, but this of course does not work if the movie is 2.35:1.
Basically is there anyway I can make the TV-out NOT widescreen so that it displays the correct letterboxing?
