help needed with win7 cd key not regonised

Hi all, ok so basicly i have gone from win7 32bit to win7 64bit.
as adviced on these forums i used a copy of 64bit with trying to use my 32bit key.

im pretty sure im using the correct key but it tells me wrong key!

is there anyway to find my key from my old install on the other hdd as ive jsut gone across to ssd and new install.

ive now got 27 days remaining and would like to sort it, dont really wanna have to go back to 32bit and do another install.

lol. both totally legit. well as i said ive got 27 days left so if i cant find solution then i will phone microsoft.
 
magic jelly beans found the key, i was pointing hive to wrong directory!!

that phone call to ms might be happening then.
 
ms is great!!!!
on phone now, have already gone through 3 people and 2 departments, waiting for tech guy (4th person) so hopefully he will be able to help!!!!!!
 
well that was 25 mins of my life wasted!!!
indian woman who couldnt really speak english insisted i must purchase 64 bit disc, and that i shouldnt be using my friends disc.
she then transfers me to ms store where the guy cant even find details on the system, he did tell me tho i should be able to download the 64bit disc for my product key but i would also have to do an upgrade from vista to win7, not sure how i would i can do this when he couldnt find details on system to give me new dl link!!

there must be a way round this as ive read about doing clean installs instead of upgrade.
