Hi,
I Have purchased a Huawei WS322 wireless repeater to extend the coverage of my wireless router D-link DSL 2680. I cannot make head nor tail of the instructions that came with the repeater. My set up is as follows.
Desktop connected to the wireless router with an Ethernet cable and running Windows 7. I am not sure if my desktop even has wireless network card, although it is connected to my printer wirelessly, but that may be through the router.
Laptop also connected most of the time with an Ethernet and running Vista. My laptop definitely has a wireless network card installed and I can connect wirelessly to the router no problem provided I am close enough, which is a bit pointless at the moment as if I am that close I can simply plug it in.
Can anyone give me a simple step by step on how to set this up?
Also am I correct in assuming that the wireless device will automatically connect to either the repeater or the router which ever has the strongest signal?
Any help would be appreciated.
Axel
