HELP NEEDED

OK NEED HELP HERE I HAVE GOT A ZOTAC 275GTX 896MB CARD AND I HAVE GOT JUST OVER £300 TO SPEND ON A NEW CARD DO I GO ATI OR NVIDIA.
WOULD ATI 5870 GIVE ME BETTER PERFOMANCE THAN THE CARD I GOT NOW
OR WOULD I GO TO A NVIDIA 295.
IF ANY ONE GOT ANY COMMENTS IT WOULD BE GRATEFULL

xfx ati 5870 card

sorry lads i did go for the xfx 5870 xxx card in the end and it seem ok at first then we had trouble someone turn the central heating on it by god it got hot when playing mw2,it just hangs.their seems to be a problem with the card or the drivers,becouse we had to turn down the gpu setings from 900mhz to 875mhz and the memory setting from 1300mhz to 1235mhz to keep it cool also we had to adjust the catalyst control centre fan setting to manual at 55% becouse the card auto setting wasn't kicking in. faulty card? or bad ati drivers.
am in touch with xfx and waiting thier reply. you should'nt have to do anything to it from new specialy when you have spent out just under £400
