help needed

hi i'm getting a lot of bsod with the message memory management, i'm thinking it's my ram but not certain as i've checked it overnight and it passed but don't know what else it could be, any suggestions?

What did you use to test the memory?

Is this the system in your sig?

hi i think it was mem test and yes it's the system in my sig

Ok, try using the system with one stick of RAM at a time. Try testing a different stick and different banks but make one change at a timeso make a log of what you are doing.

If the BSOD appears with the same stick regardless of what bank it's in, then you have a faulty memory module.

If different modules fail in the same bank, then it looking to be either a CPU (probably with the MC) or the motherboard..

thanks for the suggestions but unfortunately i can't do my own pc maintenance due to my disability

I would therefore strongly recommend a local PC technician who can pop round to help
