I currently have a GTX460 SE Superclocked in my machine and am looking to upgrade. I recently upgraded to a 2500k (running at 3.9) and feel like the 460 is holding it back a little.

I was thinking of going SLI but am having problems finding another card to match mine with it being the SE version.

I am looking to spend around £100 - £200 on an upgrade and am lost as to which to go with. I was looking at a 2nd hand 480 but the heat issue is a worry. I would rather stick with Nvidia for Physx reasons. A 2nd hand card would be fine.

I'm looking for nice frame rates on Crysis, Metro, Arma II, BF3 etc. I currently game at 1650 x 1080 but will be looking to move up to 1900 x 1200 in 6 months or so. I could spend £3000 on a card just now but I figure that by the time I need such a card then the cost will have dropped so I would just be wasting money now.

Any advice would be fantastic.

I'm running a Cooler Master 7000w PSU by the way.

Doesnt matter what version 460 you get, you can just overclock them the same when in sli. Get the same brand, but it won't matter if 1 of them is SE and the other is SSE for example. I use 2 of them in sli mate and max all games easily at 1920 x 1080 so youll be fine .

Oh and by the way you do not have a 7000w psu in your system !!!

A Google search advises that an SE can't be matched with a regular 460 due to the amount of cores being lower on the 460 SE.
