Purchased a new card and I have uninstalled old card drivers and software, put in new card but it wont boot past the bios options and I can't access the bios either. Help!!!

Your spec would help. It could be that the motherboards bios needs a update, not enough power from the psu or any number of things. We need more information. Have you tried reseating the card? Required power connectors inserted?

Ok, Celeron g530, z77ds3h motherboard, 400w antec high current gamer psu, XP, 4gb ram.

Checked with OC support staff that card was ok for that system and they said it was fine. Card is MSI 750 Ti

I got it working, it runs fine but when I restart, it won't boot up again, I have to jiggle the case to get it to boot, obviously something isn't connected properly but I don't know what. I have tried wiggling the graphics card but that doesn't kick it into life.

Please don't jiggle the card about when the pc has power to it. You could end up blowing something. Gigabyte Z77 boards are notorious for needing a bios update to work with the newer cards so that's one thing to try although this does seem like a loose connection somewhere. I would still try the bios update though.

If the bios update doesn't work, then the fact you jiggling the case helps points to a short somewhere.

Take out all the parts and re-fit them carefully and properly. Don't shake with power in it, you might end up shorting it in a place which could end up permanently damage.
