Help needed

Recently updated my gpu to a gtx 980 and updated my psu to a 650W
Ever since upgrading these two components I have had a long bios splash screen like 2 mins long where before it was seconds, I also can't access my bios, tapping the del key dose nothing.

I have done some research and uninstalled my old amd drivers and ran cc cleaner and it's still the same, getting quite frustrated

Mobo is gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H

Have just reset the bios and now after the splash screen it's just a black blank screen doesn't boot windows anymore ?

I have removed my 980 and can boot fine from onboard graphics

Boot order ? I can't fin that in the bios is that in windows ?

I have changed the setting to PCI maybe o should have changed it to peg if I try to enter the bios when using my 980 I get a blank screen I have to disconnect and go through onboard graphic to get into bios settings

yes both power cables are connected i have had the card running for a week, and a week of long splash screens

so i have changed the settings to PEG, disabled integrated graphics, re set BIOS, deleted and re created page file.

yet still long splash screen and if i try to enter bios with 980 in it just turns blank.

any other ideas?
