would the evga 600w bq psu be ok to power an evga gtx 780 and fx6300??

i have one here but keep getting told its not powerful enough and need an 850w psu minimum.

however my 980ti and ryzen 1600 runs fine on the superflower platinum 550w psu

TIA

Evga gtx 780 wants 600W, fx6300 wants 95W - the GPU wattage is likely 'this minimum for your system' wheras the CPU wattage is 'this is what the CPU will require by itself'.

You can run it on there - it's not advised, but you can.

Just don't overclock it!

When in doubt, use maths or an online calculator.

GTX 780 - 225-250W TDP IIRC +
FX-6300 - 95W TDP
= ~350W

Leaves 250W for fans, hard drives, mobo etc plus safety margin. Good to run PSUs no higher than 80% load. You'd still have 130W for all of the above at 80% load.
