1080 doesn't have HDMI it's all display ports.

OK, let me re-phrase: Have you tried plugging in your monitor to the onboard GFX?

Are you sure? I've just looked on the EVGA Website at the 1080 FTW Hybrid and it has 3 DisplayPorts, 1 HDMI and DVI

Tried it but no luck, I've ordered a newer display port cable as some people had to buy newer cables.
