i got a budget of £750, maybe 800 max
i need suggestions, everything is welcome :)

many thanks, Nuke

also i posted a while ago that i was going to building one for the new year thats cancel'd :P

Cool stuf, i'll be happy to come up with a spec for you, just need to ask a couple of questions before I start:

What are you mainly going to use the PC for ? (ie Gaming, video/image/audio editing, 3D cad, F@H, office applications, internet browsing, (HD) video watching)

Also, by "need everything" does that include : PC tower and all components, monitor, Operating system, speakers, keyboard, mouse, microphone/headset ?

Look forward to hearing back :)

I gotta say, RJC's Intel i7 spec is great, go for that. If you want to do some overclocking get a CPU cooler like this, go for this if you want a really awesome piece of kit.

If you are needing a monitor aswell, then go with RJC's AMD Phenom II spec + this monitor.

Sweet :)

does it come with everything to build it?

One thing you will need is a another fan for the case, goes in the front (I think ;))

The motherboard comes with cables for the sata drives and I/O shield plate.

The case supplies the screws and stand-offs for the motherboard and drives.

Sweet would it be best in get a anti static mat too, by the way this is my first build :D

ive took pc's apart etc and put them back together in class before so, i kno whats happening :P

thanks again :)

also could i get a suggestion on the fan? :D thanks

You could, but i did my first build a few weeks ago and i didnt use/have an anti static mat. Just remember to discharge yourself before starting i.e. touching the computer case.
