Help! New rig keeps crashing!

Ok so I started a thread on the PC gamer forums but it got me nowhere... I think it's pointless to retype it all and so here's a LINK.

Basically it crashes after an undefined (differs) time, when on the BIOS screen, during Windows, during bootup, whenever. I have no idea what's causing it.

not heard of copy and paste?

"The core temp doesn't seem to rise large amounts, (sticking around 30-40) and none of the fans speed up before the crash, yet when I run, say, Firefox with three tabs open the computer locks up. Another example of a crash is when installing programs (ie adobe flash player). The mouse and keyboard do not respond (note, they are a Razer Lachesis and a Logitech keyboard not in the basic rig build) and the Razer's light goes off, indicating no power. The hard drive light turns off when the crash occurs, but the power light stays on, the computer maintains the same level of noise/activity that it was at before the crash.

I have no idea what is causing this, any feedback would be great!"

Are you running at stock or overclocked?

Heh, I figured it would be less cluttered to just link, and if I tried to copy and paste I might miss out something. Not sure whether you chose to only copy part of it, but I posted more info in a reply further down.

It's stock.

Sounds like a memory problem download and run memtest from here: http://www.memtest.org/

When you say its stock do you mean that you have just left everything at AUTO or have you set the memory latency and voltage correctly?

I had the same sort of issue a few years back, turned out to be faulty OCZ ram.
