Need some help in OC'ing my PC on air

I have a Asus A8n-e, Opty 165, Muskin xp4000 2bg ddr and a 1900xtx.

I have no idea what and how to do the OC. I have had a look at the bios but cant make any sens of it. I want to aim for 2.4-2.5ghz initially. Anyone give a step by step procedure or point me to a website

Cheers! :D

Read the sticky, still not sure. Ive just run 3d mark and i got 9563.
Went into bios

CPU Freq is 200mhz, (this can increase)
DDR voltage is auto
Multiplier max i can see is 9
cpu voltage i changed to 1.36
HTT is 5x i think, or maybe 4, i cant remember. I didnt change dram(i think thats what its called) settings. says memory is 400mhz.

anything i else can do?

Cheers for that ^^^ But after reading all that I'm now even more confused! HTT this, multiplier that, vcore this and voltage that, cpu vid this, memory divider that Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh   Ive managed to lock the pci-e to 100mhz and taken HTT down to three.

Ok let me put it this way. Im trying to get 2.4ghz, what needs to be changed to get to it? Can someone say set cpu frequency to Q, Memclock index to Y, HTT multiplier to X etc etc?

This is what my Bios says under advanced ->jumperfree config

Overclock Profile [Manual]
CPU Freq [200]
pci express [100mhz]
ddr Voltage [Auto]
Cpu Multiplier [x9]
Cpu Voltage [1.400v]
pci clock synch mode [33.33mhz]

Under Advanced ->Cpu Config

CPU type, cpu speed & Cache ram are greyed out

DRAM Config is auto Memclock index is 400mhz
Hyper Transport is currently 3 but was auto.

??? Cheers

just start uping the cpu frequency by 10mhz then check temps and then repeat until you reach whatever speed you want, it if doesnt boot, increase the voltage on the vcore, 2.4 should be easy

What about the memory? leave it as standard? vcore is CPU Voltage correct? And HTT leave it at auto? Cheers!
