Help on building PC?

What is your budget?

Edit:

I would do something like this:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4670 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £179.99
1 x HIS HD 7850 IceQ 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H785Q2G2M) £169.99
1 x Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £109.99
1 x BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black £69.95
1 x Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz Dual CHannel Kit (PV38G213C1K) £65.99
1 x XFX Pro 650W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £64.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £49.99
1 x OcUK 20x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £16.99
Total : £740.48 (includes shipping : £10.50).

PSU - XFX is built by Seasonic, the best on the market
Gigabyte board is the best budget board
Case is personal preference
Faster RAM gives you a more responsive and efficient system, 2133+ would be a good solid choice
G/Card, 560Ti is not great, the 7850 is a better card and you get £150 of free games.
I would also recommend a decent cooler like the Cooler Master 612S, Thermalright True Spirit 140, Alpenföhn Matterhorn/Brocken)

What do you mean? Are the parts I selected bad? I know they're slighty over £400 but i still afford that.

You said your budget was £400, the components in your first post will cost more than that.

That exceeds my budget of around £400

For a decent first build, I would be looking at spending about £600, at least.
If we knew what your maximum budget was, we could then spec you a decent build.
What will be the main uses for this system?

This would be my spec for £450. Which would be ideal for general browsing and some light gaming.

You can use Win 8 Enterprise free, for 3 months until you decide on 7 or 8.

Or you could get this mobo and add an i5 at a later date when you feel you need a bit more of a performance increase.
