I've just recieved a foxconn p45AL motherboad but when I was transfering all the parts to it from my nvidia 680i sli i noticed the CPU socket on the foxconn is different. The centre of it only has 8 little contacts (1 row of 6 and 2 to the left) where as my nvidia one has 3 rows of 6. It says on there website it's compatible but i dont wanna risk it! The back of the cpu too only has 7 little contacts in the centre (in one row) but these kinda match up with the contacts on my nvidia but not on the foxconn :S are these contacts just for surport or do they do something???
