Need to build a new pc and so far I have these decisions made;

Processor: AM3 Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair III Formula ROG Edition
Cooler: Zalman CNPS9900-LED
Hard drive: Undecided

Now for the DDR3 the mother board will allow for 16gb @ 1600MHz. My current one had 8gb @ 800MHz but I would have been able to get away with 3gb.

I plan to have windows 7 on it so I believe 4gb should be enough for now.

The available options are;

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3 DHX Memory Kit

Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 HyperX Memory CL9 1.9V Unbuffered Non-ECC

OCZ 4GB KIT (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600Mhz PC3 12800 REAPER SERIES DUAL CHANNEL KIT (7-7-7-24)

All roughly the same price :)

hmm. Don't expect I'd need to touch the voltage settings in all honesty as in overclocking it.

how would the lower voltage help?
