Help on Games Design Test!

Fingers crossed i'll be going on a ND Media Games Development course at Warwickshire College in a few months.

I've been sent my interview papers and what i need, and on one of the papers it says i will need to complete a 15 minute Games Related Test.

I just wanted to know (and i hope i've posted this in the right section) if anyone knows what type of questions the test will ask because i have absolutely no idea. Will they be about Coding? Mapping? Companies? I don't know.

Well what were the prerequisites to the course? I'm sure it's not going to be anything difficult if you're not expected to have done any previous game related qualifications.

The questions will probably be along the lines of why you like computer games and want to do the course, any info you can bring up from the past and where you think the games industry will go in years to come as well as genre and cross-genre stereo types and forms and conventions. I had a similar thing but in an informal interview/chat form when I went to Teesside to do Animation. Its unlikely they will ask anything about coding, mapping etc as there are so many different languages/3d apps etc. Its when you go for jobs that you need worry and the company can see through your plans to get a job in there then work your way across to a different position!
