I want to consider what upgrades I can fit to my machine so I can try some current generation games, such as Red Dead Redemption etc (mid settings).

I don't have a great budget and hope to get away with just changing the GPU - and if so what else would fit.

Specs are:

GTX 670 3X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI
i5-3570K 3.40GHz
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77
OCZ ZT 650W '80 Plus Bronze'
8GB
BitFenix Shinobi "Core" USB3.0 Gaming Windowed Case

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi - maybe around £250, and working on 1920 x 1080.
Had thought about a 1660 as others had suggested, would rather stay with Nvidea.

Would my CPU be a bottleneck with this and would my PCU be sufficient ?

Thanks again.

I am in similar situation... dont know what to do...
The trouble I have is unlike when I brought my machine 7 year ago I now have little time to tinker with PC upgrading, and I was never that good at it anyway.
It seems to be more future proofed I need to change my MB and CPU, but I am a bit nervous of going through all of this.

So I am more likely to just update my GPU to the GTX 1660 SUPER as suggested, but can see overall performance might be squeezed by my now under powered i5-3570K 3.40GHz.

I am trying to look for some guides as to what improvement I will see over over my GTX 670 using the new GTX 1660, but changing nothing else.

Think I found my comparison:
