Hi there, wondering if anyone can offer advice on what to use on a new theatre PC I have coming.

What i am looking for is something like XBMC but I would like to be able to browse the internet as well with it on the TV, maybe even run utorrent or something, and also my wife loves playing online bingo.

Any advice? might be easier to dual boot maybe? not sure.

Any advice much appreciated.

You can get both internet browsing and utorrent inside xbmc.

If it was me, and you will be booting into xbmc more than other stuff, I would do as you say and duel boot.

OpenELEC or something like that for a super small install xbmc for speedy bootup time, and then either Linux or Windows to boot into when you want to do other stuff.

I have been running a little acer revo nettop pc with windows 7 and the xbmc windows client and able to run 1080p and stream without any issues for 3 years, I also like the ability to goto windows for updates, web browsing etc with a Xenta Wireless Mini Keyboard which is excellent.
