Help on keyboard & mouse for couch gaming

Evening gentlemen just after a little help.

After months of deciding whether to go for a Xbox one or a PS4 i finally pulled the trigger this week on a £1050 gaming PC . Im planning to use this on my 54" TV in the front room from the Settee (Couch for our American friends).

Just can't decide what keyboard and mouse set up to go for. Any advice and personal recommendations would be great.

Yeah keyboard on lap with mouse to my right on a hard surface block of wood/book maybe. I'll be about 10 feet away from the unit I'm also worried on the distance for the wireless and if there will be any delay. Also looking to use a wireless 360 controller.

Gaming will be along the lines of DayZ, ARMA III, ESO, TitanFall and of course Star Citizen.
