Help on Mouse & Mousemat choices:

I'm starting to feel that it's definitely defective now, because if I push up a bit higher on the right button it makes some kind of clanking noise.
The reason I'm looking towards to G700 is that I came from a MX400, and they both have similar shapes. However, do you reckon a G700 is worth the extra money over, say, a G500?
