help on my system please

well i guess that overclock was too good to be true for me
after about 15min got the big blue screen and had to reboot pc
have had to put it back to standard
dont know what caused it
oh well never mind at least i tried
 
I guess you mean the overclock on the CPU? Don't give up already :)

Overclocking involves more than just putting in the numbers and leaving it ;)

It's taken me a few long nights to try and get my Q6600 stable at 3.6, but i got there in the end! Try turning off Speedstep and C1E and give it another try. Theres no reason why the quad shouldnt get to 2.8!
