Help on RAM

Hi Guys

Which would be better out of the following:

PC2-5300C3 or PC2-6400C4

I'm looking at 4 GB Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz or OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series.

Which would you recommend?

whats the rest of you're setup, do you overclock, what o/s do you have.

would advise 2x2gb for 4gb of memory.

of those 2 the ballistix 5300 has been mentioned to clock to 8500 speeds, not sure if the current batches are still that good, if not i'd take the 6400.

I will be also getting:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz
Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi Intel P35

Which 2x2gb RAM would you recommend. :confused:

Go for the 6400.. Although you won't utilise it's potential on stock settings, it gives you a little headroom for some tweaking later should you wish.

I am planning on overclocking.

So i guess its the G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-6400C5.

Which would you go for:

G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-6400C5 (2x2GB) CAS5
or
OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2

I can get the OCZ for £155.
