OK, so I'm off on a stag-do to Tenerife on Friday, except I've never been and it's been a while since I flew (about 18 months).

I'm packing all my summer stuff to go with so I should be OK but I have a few questions

1 - what are current restrictions on hand luggage as I was going to take a small rucksack with a few bits to read, as well as food and drink (bought previously - water and biscuits(!))

2 - Any idea what to do when there with out spending too much money as I ain;t loaded. Will be staying at Coral Beach Apartment/Hotel.

3 - Stupid question - it's euro's they use over ther isn't it?

edit : also what sort of prices are we looking at?

Still think you can't carry liquids in your hand luggage.
Drink, club, party, drink, sleep, drink, drink... probably what i spend most of my time doing with mates abroad :D
Yep. Euros.

Liquids limited to 100ml containers all placed in a clear plastic bag no bigger than 20cm x 20cm. You're better off just buying a drink or two airside. :)

NO liquids IE no water in hand luggage. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS, as you can then buy all the massively marked up liquids you want after you've been searched. Monopoly anyone? That always irritates me a bit, but then again I never carry liquids in the same bag as my laptop ;)
It might be quite pricey as the Euro is currently very strong. Yesterday 200 euro was £167 :(
You should be able to take hand luggage (one piece only mind you)
