help on wires

hi their ive not long got into pc gaming and building and wanted to know what cables are for what,i know that the 24 pin goes to the mobo,but im not sure what fan cable connectors are,i know that they go into either the mobo or modular psu.
also what air fans can be used with a fan controller,thanks Josh

24 pin to mobo,

4 or 8 pin to cpu (also on motherboard)

6pin or 8 pin to graphics card

4 pin "molex" are for fans, supplying power to other things

the thing flat cables from power supply are for sata - hard drives etc

you can get adapters etc for other things, but they are the main ones!
