Hi guys

SOld my old rig and it has an EVGA 8800 GTS KO ACS3 650MB Card in it

Need to use the machine to power two monitors, both flat screens

Spec sheet can be viewed here:-

http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/640-P2-N827.pdf

The card has (two) 2 X dual link DVI outputs

I have one adapter/connector block on back iof card that is 15pin VGA D sub type

How can I connect the 2 flat screen LCD monitors to this card so I can have one desktop across two screens?

Regards

Lew

You can have 2 monitors with extended desktop, download the latest drivers form nvidia and install then. Then go into nvidia control panel and check the settings.

Hi guys

Was on about the port/connectors, not the software

Monitors are Dell 20" with just one 15 pin VGA connector

Graphics card twin output are DVI-I

Thats what confusing me

You need a couple of DVI to VGA adapters, tis as simple as plugging them in.

** No hotlinking **

DVI-I Should be able to use adapters for vga.
The four pins around the - carry the analog signal. (Iirc)

DVI-D won't be able to.
