Help Overclocking GTX 280

Hi all.

being lazy here but with such great resource why not use it...

Im looking to overclock my point of view GTX 280 by 5 - 10%

Ideally I would like to test in software then flash the BIOS..

Ive done this b4 with ATI but not Nvidia...

What are the best ways to do this? Where can I get hold of some sample BIOS flash's for this card (if anyone knows)

Forget bios, use Rivatuner v2.09

If running 602/1296/2214 Id be aiming for 650/1450/2300 maybe

Cheers for that. Have gone for 5% and will leave it there as the thing is damn fast...

Doesnt seem to have affected temps at all either so pleased with that...

5% wont affect the temps

ive gone 15%+ past the existing factory overclock on my card and it only started heating up

fan is now on 75% for full load

always use rivatuner for nvidia cards

just google 'rivatuner guide' for an explination on how to save profiles etc

Cheers guys,

I started getting some break up on the screen so though, better clock back down - but kept getting the break up at 620 which was weord - anyway id accidentally locked my fan at 40%, turned that off it zoomed to 100% and everything fine.

Now its managing itself im easily sitting on a 10% OC,

Think theres more in the tank but im happy with what ive got. For now lol...
