Hi,

been messing around for a couple of months trying to get it stable at 4ghz and now its time to come here for your advice.

Motherboard: Asus Maximus III Extreme
CPU: i7 860 skt 1156 w/ H70 Cooling
RAM: Corsair Dominator GT (2133Mhz @ 9-10-9-24, 1.65v)

Anyone with simular setup? Im unsure on what the settings should be in bios ect.

Cheers

Just changed settings to:

BCLK = 20 x 200
PCIE - 100
DRAM = 2000Mhz
CPU-V = 1.4
PLL = 2.0
IMC = 1.35
PCH = 1.06
DRAM = 1.65v

Stress testing now, are the settings to high to low?

Edit: just got a BSOD so i let you guys figure it out :)

How many memory modules have you got?

I've got the same board and CPU as you too. I might be able to help you out.
Try setting your IMC to about 1.25v (assuming you've only got two memory modules)

Hi phil,

I have Corsair AX850W PSU, Had a look at one of your old posts about your overclock come to think of it.

atm i got it on 3.8Ghz stable lowered the IMC and Volts a hell of a lot so that helped me my temps i guess i could easily do 4Ghz just raising the two going to try that now
