I need some serious help. I have the spec in sig and am connected to ubroadband in my unite accomidation in my room at uni. The boadband works via a lan wire (those grey ones like cross over cable) from the wall to the pc network port. And no set up is required, just works.

But since i had my mobo at 290fsb and i had to clear the cmos its stopped working. I have tried clearing the cmos again, unclocking the pc totally, tried both lan ports on the mobo, tried full pc virus scan ect. It should work! I have tried 2 wires and the broadband company says that its working fine on their end.

So 1) What have i done, broke? 2) How do i fit it quickly and cheap/free.

IM at home now so cant check till sunday but i have cleared the cmos about 50 times in the last 2 weeks because i have been clocking it and never had this problem so im 99.9% sure that the bios settings are default correct.

My htt bus is on default as i have unclocked the pc now.

I cant check with anyone if the net is down because only about 2 people in the building have bband, and i have been told by the company that the problems on my end.

Any other ideas?

Possibly u have erased your mac address from the bios, i had a problem very similar to this with my neo 2. I ended up using a modded bios to restore my mac address. Apparently it is a common problem with the neo 2.

Now that sound simular to what somone else told me. Care to expand on what yuu have said?
