hello all, im currently wanting to overclock an AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ 2.7ghz processor but the problem is.. my motherboard : gigabyte m51gm-s2g wont allow me to overclock in the bios, im puzzled on what to do to overclock, I've tried clockgen, but that didnt seem to work and i tried the official AMD overclocking software but it doesnt support my cpu, any help? I know the motherboard is quite old and the processor itself.. but the computer is nearly doing everything i want it to.. i just want that extra little edge which an overclock will probably give me

-Thanks

your board will not allow you to up the FSB at all ?
That is really strange.
Have you looked at the overclocking guides on these forums ?
If not i would recommend it as chances are its the wrong thing you are adjusting or something. OC'ing is not hard but if you dont know what you need to do then it will not end well as it can be dangerous for your hardware if you mess with the wrong stuff.

Also Welcome to the forums :)
