Help overclocking please

Im trying to get my 6300 stable at 3ghz but im having no luck, it crashes in BF2 either when loading or on the menu screen. My spec is in my sig. Can anyone give me some settings to try in BIOS as im a complete noob at overclocking, if you need anymore info just ask and ill try to answer as much as possible.

lol all e6300s dont go to 3ghz you no try turnig the core speed down btw waht cooler are u using and what temps are you getting

i can't get mine to sit at 3ghz stable i have to run it at 2.95ghz lol

So is that E6300 in your sig a different one then?
