When I hit the Power button on my pc it makes an ambulance noise (I had that in the past too,it was an error for not having a CPU fan,it is water cooled) and the screen goes into power saving mode.

The board screen shows the number 50,which according to the manual has something to do with USB,this is what it suggests I should do

Clear CMOS firstChange USB port or remove USB deviceDisable USB 5v stand by jumper

I reseted the CMOS,unplugged all USB devices, nothing changed.I have not made any hardware or software changes recently.

What should I do guys?

I would disconect every thing plugged in to the machine, but for video and power also disconnect all front panel and just jumper it to start it. If that dosent work then try running with one stick of ram and no pci/-e cards installed and see if it works.

I removed all USB,run with 1 stick of ram,no luck. The led on the board gives me another error now,7F and it means

Press Del bottom and load into BIOS, load optimized default. If problem remains the same, we suggest you send to RMA at last.

Obviously I can't get into bios.Does this mean that my board died? How can I make sure it is the board?

I assume you have removed the CMOS Battery and unplugged it and left it for 5 mins and then tried again? If you have then mabe try reseating everything and one stick of ram, and if you can try a diffrent stick of ram known good.

So I guess it's time for an upgrade...Is there anything else I can do to make sure it is the mobo?

Could it be an exhausted battery causing this?
