Ok I need some help with this as i can not figure out what to do.....
I have just had 50mb Virgin Broadband installed. I watched the guys test it, first on my PC getting speeds starting at 40mb then quickly reducing to 30mb.
They hooked up their lap top and ran the exact same test and got a constant 49mb.
I have now ran tCP/IP optimiser and set everything on full. Turned off all power saving features of Windows 7 and yet when i download test files from www.thinkbroadban.com it does the same thing. Starts at 5.2MB/s and quickly tails off to a constant 2mb/s to 3mb/s.
Why is it not holding the speed?
