Help pc freezing in games

Hi

Ive upgraded to a asus p7p55d and i5 750

Ive reinstalled windows 7 and drivers, when i play a game the pc freezes for about 20 secs then continues, it has done this in cod mw2, counterstrike test,
bc2 wont load up.

The motherboard is new and the cpu was brought from mm.

Anyone got any ideas, i just cant play anything.

you tried the latest drivers?, ati released new ones other day

Yeah, deffo check you Graphics card settings etc

installed new graphics driver, its still doing it,even changing controls in mw2 it just freezed for about 30 seconds?

highest cpu temp is 43c, current gpu temp 30c

Who knows it could be power your PSU could be on the way out but don't go and buy a new PSU because of this!! Find out what it is first. Although do yu have another suitible PSU to test it on?

it seems it might of been the sata cable
