Help! - PC Locking up.

Hey, I'm having an issue where my PC will just completely lock up/freeze and make a noise like an old TV with no signal would make, the lights on my keyboard and mouse even go off and the only way to turn it off is by the switch on the PSU.

It used to do it now and again but its now starting to do it on start up when I get to the desktop.

I assume specs in the sig?

If overclocked - drop back to base clocks and test from there.
Do you notice any pattern of what your running when the unit locks up?

Yeah specs are in the sig. No, I thought it was to do with flash or something because normally it would happen when I was watching stuff but doing it on start up with nothing open just desktop so not sure now. Will try dropping clocks, ty.

Sounds very much like something power related so clocks is a good place to look.
